The Brain Repair Group
PhD Student Projects
We seek to take 1 or 2 PhD students per year in the Brain Repair Group.
Students will be supervised by Stephen Dunnett and/or Anne Rosser, along with other senior postdoctoral scientists in the Group.
Notwithstanding the advertising of specific projects associated with the funding associated with specific studentships, our goal is always to take the very best applicant(s) in any area of study relevant to the research activities of the Group, from molecular and cell biology, anatomy, through animal models of disease and behaviour, to clinical studies.
Details of our participation in the new 4-year PhD programme, and more details of potential projects, can be found here.
Formal applications are to be submitted via the University’s
electronic
submission process. However, potential applicants are strongly advised
in the first instance to make an informal enquiry about potential projects
to either Professor Stephen Dunnett
or to Professor Anne Rosser,
attaching (i) a full cv; (ii) a brief project proposal (max 1 page)
of the outlining the type of project and area of Group research in which
you would wish to engage; and (iii) the names of two or three academic
referees.
