Research Overview

I am interested in how anthropogenic change affects communities and ecosystem processes in freshwaters, and how management efforts can be used to offset such impacts. My PhD, which ran from 2010 to 2013, and which was funded by a Knowledge Economy Skills Scholarship (KESS), investigated the benefits of the restoration of tree cover as an adaptation to minimise climate change impacts and support fish production in upland streams.
