BESUSSED
Is funded under the EU KEF Consortia for Industrial Training fund. The project aims to develop pilot training material for courses at Level 4 and above by HE partners with guidance from the rest of the steering group including the Sector Skills Councils.
These courses are structured so as to be understood and be of use and relevance to the landscape and associated construction industries. BESUSSED focuses on all aspects of the design process to improve the overall sustainability of a building. It looks at low energy design through the use of renewable energy and the sourcing of sustainable materials, the construction process and how to address the problem of providing sustainable buildings that meets the social needs of communities in Wales.
